About Leah

Leah Levine, LICSW is a psychodynamically-informed children’s therapist with an interest in working with complex issues of trauma, loss, and attachment in young children. This includes children and families impacted by domestic and international adoption and foster care, serious illness, divorce or separation, abuse, and traumatic events including natural disasters.

Leah is a licensed independent clinical social worker (MA license #116061) and has been practicing for nearly 20 years. Leah was trained at Smith College School for Social Work and received additional certification from the Psychoanalytic Institute at UT Southwestern in the Psychoanalytic treatment of children.

Leah is happy to share that she is a parent by international adoption to two girls, one born in China and one in Vietnam. The experience of adoption is a uniquely beautiful and at times, challenging way to become a parent. Leah understands that for some adoptive parents, it's important to select a provider who has a personal connection to adoption.
